Terms and Conditions

  • Information on how to enter and prizes form part of these terms and conditions. By participating, entrants agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
  • Entry is open to current Johnnie Walker Golf Club Members who are residents of New Zealand and are 18 years and over. Employees and their immediate families of the Promoter and its agencies associated with this promotion are ineligible to enter.
  • To enter, visit www.johnniewalkergolfclub.co.nz and click on the Competitions Tab. Entrants are required to locate the hidden ball on the Golf Course by moving the cursor and dropping the marker then clicking ‘register your location’. The closest marker to the hidden ball will win the first prize. The next 50 closest balls will win the second prize. Limit of one entry per person.
  • The promotion commences on 01 July 2011 and closes at 23.59 on 22 July 2011. No entries will be accepted after this time.
  • There is one first prize to be won (“First Prize”). First Prize consists of flights & transfers for the winner and one other to Auckland (up to a total value of $1500), overnight accommodation (twin share), a round of Golf for the winner and one other at Gulf Harbour Country Club where Steve Williams will act as caddy for 9-18 holes. Lunch and refreshments will also be included on the day. The First Prize must be taken on 24th November 2011. The Promoter reserves the right to draw additional reserve winners in the event that the winner is not eligible for the First Prize or cannot participate in the First Prize on this date.
  • There will be fifty [50] second prizes to be won (“Second Prize”). Each second prize consists of 1 x Johnnie Walker Overnight Bag, 1 x Turf repairer, 2 x Golf Balls, 1 x Golf Towel, 1 x Golf Cap, 1 x Ball marker (total approximate value $85).
  • Prizes are not transferable and are not redeemable for cash. The judge's decision is final and binding - no correspondence will be entered into. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for late, lost or misdirected entries. Entries will be deemed to be void if stolen, forged, mutilated or tampered with in any way.
  • In the event that any prize becomes unavailable for reasons beyond the Promoter's control, the Promoter may substitute a prize of equal or greater value.
  • The prize draw for First and Second prizes will take place on 26 September 2011. The First Prize winner will be notified by telephone within 2 days of the draw. The Second Prize winners will be notified by email.
  • The Promoter and its related bodies corporate shall not be liable for any loss, damage or injury suffered or sustained (including but not limited to direct or consequential loss or loss arising from negligence) arising directly or indirectly out of or in connection with the promotion or any prize
  • Before the First Prize is awarded, the winner and any other person/s sharing the prize with the winner will be required to sign a form to release the Promoter from, and indemnify the Promoter against, any and all liability arising from the use or participation in the prize.
  • Details from all entries will be collected and used for the purposes of conducting this promotion (which may include disclosure to third parties for the purpose of processing and conducting the promotion) and for publicity purposes surrounding this promotion. By entering this promotion entrants consent to the use of their information as described. Entrants may access and/or change their data by logging onto www.johnniewalkergolfclub.co.nz and clicking on the Update my Details button. The Promoter's privacy policy is available on www.johnniewalkergolfclub.co.nz. The Promoter will only use your personal details for marketing purposes outside those described above if you "opt in" and join the Johnnie Walker mailing list when prompted on the website otherwise all entries and personal details will be destroyed following the conclusion of the competition.
